Glacial and periglacial geomorphology of central Troms and Finnmark county, Arctic Norway

Here we present a glacial and periglacial geomorphological map of ?6800 km2 region central Troms Finnmark county, Arctic Norway. The is presented at 1:115,000 scale with the aim characterising spatial distribution landforms facilitating reconstruction history during latter stages deglaciation from Last Glacial Maximum into Holocene. Mapping was conducted predominantly by manual digitisation using combination Sentinel-2A/2B satellite imagery (10 m pixel resolution), vertical aerial photographs (<1 Digital Elevation Models 2 resolution). Over 20,000 individual features have been mapped include moraines (subdivided major minor moraines), ridges within areas discrete debris accumulations (DDAs), flutings, eskers, irregular mounded terrain, lineations, glacially streamlined bedrock, possible pronival ramparts, rock glaciers valley wall floor, glacierised lithalsas, contemporary lakes. records several noteworthy large moraine assemblages valleys, forming inset sequences pre-Younger Dryas limits up to 2018/19 ice margins represents valuable dataset for reconstructing Holocene activity.
